Diablo 3 is going to wow gamers around the world. There are some very interesting new thrills in the game that are heightened by the amazing new graphics, art, and music.
Initially, the makers of Diablo 3 – Blizzard – did not wish to repeat any of the character classes from the previous editions. But then, Diablo 3 would not be able to survive with all new classes. So, only some tweaks have taken place. The Barbarian is the only playable class character that has returned from the previous editions. But return of some character classes cannot be ruled out in the future.
Another aspect of Diablo 3 is the three different followers (similar to the henchman of Diablo 2). Followers can also carry a weapon this time along with two rings and a special item. The special item is specifically listed for each follower. A player can take along only one follower at a time though he is allowed to swap followers if the questlines for loyalty of another follower has been completed.

The easy part about followers is that each can get one out of three spells or skills chosen by the player at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20. A total of 12 skills have been listed for each follower.
For example, Eirena the Enchantress, can get at Level 5 Disorient / Forceful Push / Charm; at Level 10 Decoy / Reflect Missiles / Powered Armor; at Level 15 Focused Mind / Amplify Damage / Lowered Resistance; at Level 20 Energize / Energy Bomb / Guidance!
Some of the ‘coolest’ monsters in Diablo 3 include Beast, Crawling Torso, Dark Berserker, Walking Corpse, Dark Demon, Dark Vessel, Ghoul, Activated Vessel, Ghostly Orbs, Lamprey, Grotesque, Lamprey, Moon Clan Shaman, Moon Clan Warrior, etc.
The new game system allows an ‘aftermath scene’ with corpses! The corpses stay there even when the gamer moves on.
Diablo 3 is still played out in Sanctuary but there are a several more locations to explore. The initial town of Tristam is now the New Tristam. The Lost City of Ureh, newly-formed Arreat Crater, Xiansai (home of the female Wizard) are also there among other locations.
